Ocean Hills Recovery is committed to providing a way out for those who are truly searching to make sobriety a lasting choice in life. We're not a facility that offers a "one size fits all" approach to treatment. And we don't believe getting sober should be drudgery.
Our program's graduates have often said that Ocean Hills' program helped them learn how to have fun in sobriety. Our residents enjoy free time at the beach, where they can swim, surf, or have an outdoor barbeque. Residents also spend time with sober friends, attending sober events, and re-establishing ties with family members. We firmly believe that if a person doesn't learn how to have fun in sobriety, his or her chances for long-term sobriety are greatly diminished. Sobriety is not achieved overnight. The behavior patterns and habits associated with drinking or using have usually been ingrained over a period of years. Ocean Hills Recovery offers a 30-day residential program, as well as transitional living residences ("sober living") in the Southern California beach city of Dana Point. ur 30-Day and 90-Day Residential Programs are affordable, effective and highly successful. We also offer transitional or an extended program for 30 days at a time, up to 9 months. Residents live in a comfortable, structured environment, learning the tools necessary to build a foundation for a lasting sober life. Many residents also build lasting friendships in our program that offer ongoing mutual support after treatment is completed. We offer on-site 12 step meetings, chemical dependency counseling and group therapy sessions, and heroin addiction treatment. Our residents are also encouraged to connect with a sponsor who can assist them in actively working the 12 Steps to support permanent sobriety.
