Why choose us?

Here are some of the unique benefits of the Drug Rehab Southern California inpatient program:

  • A structured treatment setting to help you build a network of clean and sober allies.
  • You are able to dedicate all your energies to recovery for the prescribed treatment duration.
  • Ongoing progress assessments and treatment adjustments can be made, including an extension of treatment duration, should it be warranted.
  • A progressive and personalized program with low therapist-to-client ratios to allow you to grow and progress.
  • A comprehensive aftercare plan so you know exactly what your goals are, where you need to be in your recovery, and how you can remain successful within your recovery.
  • Our program addresses the underlying problems at the root of your addictions, which sustains long-term recovery.

Find Healing & Hope.

Inpatient rehabilitation can help you learn how to permanently change destructive behavior. At our inpatient treatment center, clients are taught how to avoid relapse, learn about the disease of addiction, work through emotional issues, and talk with others who are struggling with addiction too. We believe that addicts and alcoholics deserve the opportunity to recover.

No Distractions.

By living on-site at our treatment facility, patients are removed from the temptations and triggers of their former life and settled into a positive and supportive environment. This way you’re able to focus on your path to recovery. This can be the key to success in treatment for substance abuse because you learn to function without substances.

Should a crisis arise, a person will have immediate access to the accountability and encouragement from the highly-trained staff of the rehab center, which is sometimes exactly what a person needs for a successful recovery.

Assessment and Residential Evaluation.

Our confidential phone-based or in-person assessment process will help you determine whether treatment makes sense—and, if so, what type. If your situation involves multiple and complex issues, we may recommend residential evaluation so our multidisciplinary team of addiction treatment specialists can work with you over the course of several days to learn more about your challenges and determine the best rehab plan

Our Integrated Holistic Approach to Treatment.

After our thorough assessment, individuals move through a time-tested process of education, individual therapy, and group counseling. Our unique setting inspires reflective thought and introspection. The physical environment of our treatment center complements the therapeutic process, easing the mind and elevating the individual above the addiction. Our Drug Rehab southern California Inpatient services include:

Detoxification (Detox).

Detox is available for individuals who experience serious withdrawal complications that require medical intervention. During detox, patients are medically stabilized under 24-hour medical management. Once drugs and alcohol are out of a person’s system, the real work of recovery can begin. Detox affords patients and families the ability to begin the process of self-discovery and family reunification. This is the hallmark of successful recovery.

Psychotherapy.

Individual and/or group psychotherapy sessions help those suffering from alcohol and abuse to better understand the addictive disease process and alleviate their symptoms. A certified addictions counselor (CADC), psychologist, therapist, social worker, psychiatrist, or eating disorder specialist may conduct group and individual therapy for substance abuse and addiction.

Medication management.

Residents who are enrolled in our inpatient addiction treatment program also have weekly meetings with a psychiatrist for the purpose of medication management. Medication management services are designed to assist patients who require medications to manage the symptoms of mental and physical issues. Medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and other qualified members of the Ocean Hills Recovery nursing staff may also meet with residents in order to monitor their medication needs and the effectiveness of any medication prescribed.

Motivational Interviewing (MI).

To assist our patients to stop substance abuse, Motivational Interviewing helps them move from having ambivalent feelings regarding addiction treatment into a state of desire for change and readiness for treatment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps patients to recognize thoughts, moods, and situations that cause cravings and other addictive behavior. Our therapists help patients avoid triggers and replace any negative thoughts with healthy ones. Since the skills you learn using this therapy last a lifetime, CBT is a widely used treatment for drug abuse.

Family program.

We also offer family programs, where members of the patient’s family participate in family counseling and activities. This provides the opportunity to mend trust and identify dysfunctional relationships or dynamics that could trigger a relapse. Families can help encourage and support their loved one by being actively involved in their recovery.

Aftercare planning.

Prior to completion of our inpatient treatment program, staff members will help clients develop an after care plan to provide support for relapse prevention and enable them to maintain sobriety after treatment. The after care plan includes:

  • Ongoing counseling.
  • Regular attendance at 12-step meetings.
  • Treatment at transitional facilities.
  • Developing new hobbies that will replace your addiction.
  • Developing strategies to help prevent relapse as cravings arise.
